Jon Redshaw

Jon Redshaw was born and raised in Australia, where he is now a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Queensland. He has conducted cross-cultural foresight studies with indigenous children in the remote Australian bush and the Kalahari desert, and has also worked with primates from capuchin monkeys to chimpanzees. He has published extensively in leading journals on the development and evolution of mental time travel, presented at international conferences on cognitive science, philosophy, and developmental and evolutionary psychology, and has won awards for his public speaking. His articles have attracted considerable media attention and he has given interviews to prestigious scientific and popular outlets such as Science and Scientific American. One of his 2016 collaborations with Thomas Suddendorf in Current Biology was covered by over 50 news outlets, and his findings have been disseminated to over 700,000 Twitter users in total.
